Dokima is not a healthcare provider, medical practice, insurance company, referral service, or government certification authority.

5. Patient Stories
Verified patient stories reflect the personal experiences of individual participants.
Each person's experience is unique, and results may vary significantly.
Dokima does not create fictional testimonials or knowingly publish fabricated patient experiences.
We may edit submitted content for clarity, quality, length, accessibility, or formatting, provided such edits do not intentionally alter the overall meaning of the participant's statements.
6. Practice Responsibilities
Healthcare practices using Dokima agree to:
- Provide accurate information.
- Cooperate with the verification process.
- Obtain all legally required permissions.
- Avoid misleading or deceptive statements.
- Not submit fabricated testimonials.
- Not impersonate patients.
- Not pressure patients into participation.
- Comply with all applicable healthcare, advertising, and privacy laws.
Practices remain solely responsible for the medical services they provide.
7. Participant Responsibilities
Individuals participating in interviews represent that:
- Their participation is voluntary.
- Information they provide is truthful to the best of their knowledge.
- They have authority to grant any permissions provided.

8. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Dokima owns all intellectual property rights in:
- The Dokima name and logo
- Verification badges
- Website design
- Software
- Platform technology
- Original graphics
- Trust profile layouts
- Documentation
- Original edited content created by Dokima
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Dokima's intellectual property.
9. Content License
By submitting content to Dokima, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

- Process
- Verify
- Edit
- Publish
- Display
- Distribute
- Archive
such content solely for providing and improving our Services and fulfilling the purposes authorized by the applicable participant or customer.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate applicable laws.
- Misrepresent your identity.
- Submit false or misleading information.
- Attempt unauthorized access to our systems.
- Upload malicious software.
- Reverse engineer our Services.
- Scrape or copy website content without permission.
- Misuse Dokima verification marks.
- Use our Services to deceive others.

Dokima is not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of third-party services.
12. Fees and Payments

16. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
Dokima disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dokima and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, special, or exemplary damages arising from or relating to the Services.
Dokima's aggregate liability arising from any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer to Dokima for the applicable Services during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
18. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dokima and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:

- Your violation of applicable law.
- Your infringement of the rights of another person.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written agreement between Dokima and the customer, constitute the entire agreement relating to the Services and supersede prior understandings regarding the same subject matter.
